Fair & Square Inspections, LLC has been a team effort from the beginning. The founders have been successful at fitting strengths and weakness together to work optimally. We believe in continuing education to better our knowledge and skills as home inspectors to be of better service to you. We decided to combine our love of homes, real estate, and construction with our equally important backgrounds in analysis, investigation and consulting to develop a company that can better serve the community.
OUR FOUNDERS
Johnnie Shirts
Has a total of 40+ years’ experience in construction starting from the age of 10 years old, working in every trade through owning and operating Southside Construction that focused on remodeling, completing over 7,000 projects. Simultaneously, Johnnie also spent 25 years in law enforcement, most of that as a homicide detective. It was during this time he developed many new techniques in investigating and reporting and was very successful in solving cases. He brings this spirit of investigation and extensive knowledge to helping homeowners know what’s important to know in making that all-important home purchase decision. Johnnie has now added InterNACHI Certified Home Inspector to his long list of certifications and is looking forward to making new friends and keeping them for the long term.
Hobbies: Ink pen making, woodworking, and outdoor sports
Leslie Shirts
Has an MBA, spent 18 year as a corporate accountant before switching to installing computerized accounting systems in a variety of companies. Leslie enjoyed the process of training and helping clients learn about the new systems.She successfully ran her own international management consulting firm, for 15+ years. Leslie enjoyed taking the laundry list of client concerns and resolving them by outlining the issues and creating solutions. Fair & Square Inspections, LLC is another of her dreams… to have a business that can serve the local community while indulging in her favorite past-time, real estate. During the past 25 years, Leslie bought and sold several homes, was the contractor of record on several extensive remodeling projects. She is an InterNACHI Certified Home Inspector and runs the office.
Hobbies: Reading, quilting and playing music.
